FFDR MAMMOGRAPHY

A Full Filed Digital Mammogram is an X-RAY picture of the breast taken using high resolution digital equipments. It can be used to check for breast cancer in women who have no signs or symptoms of the disease. It can also be used if you have a lump or other signs of breast cancer. Screening mammogram is the type of mammogram that checks when you have no symptoms. A Diagnostic mammogram is an X-RAY of the breast used to diagnose unusual breast changes, such as lump, pain, nipple discharge or thickening, or change in breast size or shape. A diagnostic mammogram is used to evaluate abnormalities detected on a screening mammogram.
